Historic Logging Route
A Waterway with a Rich History
The Nissan River has a long history as a log transport route, and on our property, you can still see a historic dock where timber was once unloaded. The river was also crucial for industrial development in Gislaved and Gnosjö, providing hydropower for local factories. Four old dams remain today, serving as reminders of this era.
As our guest, you have the opportunity to explore the Nissan River and its history while enjoying the tranquility of nature – and best of all, it’s free, as long as canoes and boats are available!
