In Tranemo, just 30 minutes from Hestraviken, you’ll find a 4.1 km artificial snow track, prepared for both classic and skate skiing. The track has a stadium-like character with moderate elevation changes. Lighting is available until 10:00 PM, and changing rooms with showers are also open until then. The track requires a fee. When there is sufficient natural snow, additional trails of up to 10 km are available.

Located at an elevation of 305 meters, Komosse is just 30 minutes away by car. Snow often lasts well into the season, and the open landscape provides an exceptional nature experience. Explore small forest islands, twisted pine trees, and bonsai-like formations, shaped by time and wind.
For families, we recommend the 5 km boardwalk trail, which is often traced by previous skiers. Start at the parking area, where you’ll also find an information board. Bring a picnic and enjoy a break in the stunning winter scenery.

Just 20 minutes from Hestraviken, Store Mosse National Park offers cross-country skiing trails winding through a landscape reminiscent of northern Sweden. The park features groomed, flat, and easy trails of 3 km and 5 km, maintained by machines. In addition to prepared trails, there are great opportunities for free touring skiing in the park’s vast open areas.
