Maximize Your Day
Lift-Assisted Cycling
Isaberg offers lift-assisted cycling during specific periods. From midsummer until mid-August, the lift operates daily, while before and after this period, it is open on weekends. Please note that the lift may close at short notice due to thunderstorms, strong winds, or other unfavorable weather conditions. The lift takes you from the valley all the way to the top of the mountain.
To use the lift, you need a BikePass, which must be pre-booked or loaded online via Isaberg’s booking page. Electric bikes are not allowed on the lift due to their weight.

Tips for a Successful Downhill Experience
- New to downhill? Start with Pelikanen and ride at least three laps to get comfortable before trying more difficult trails.
- Bike choice: A full-suspension bike is optimal, but a hardtail cross-country bike works well for learning downhill.
- Warm-up: Stretch and get familiar with your bike before hitting the trails.
- Proper technique: Stand up with pedals level for better control and use the saddle as a guide when turning.
- Protective gear: Helmets are mandatory—preferably full-face. Back protectors, knee, elbow, and upper body protection are recommended. Gear can be rented at Isaberg’s Sports Center.
- Download the trail map: Plan your day and find the right trails for your skill level.
