Alpin skiing at Isaberg in Hestra
Isaberg alpin ski destination in Småland is southern Sweden’s largest and is located 3 km from Hestraviken. Isaberg offers 8 lifts and 10 slopes all with lighting for night skiing. Longest run is 1100 meters. In total there are 6 km of groomed slopes and a vertical drop of 150 meters.
Snowmaking
A hyper-modern snowmaking system guarantees snow right from -3 degrees. There are 45 snow cannons covering the entire ski area.
The pistes
At Isaberg there are 10 slopes of all difficulty levels. 4 red, 4 green, 1 blue and 1 black
Lifts
The lift capacity is very good with the Isaberg Express which takes six people in each chair from Dalbacken all the way up to the top of the mountain. In addition to the chairlift, there are also six trailer lifts and a conveyor belt.
Food and beverages
There are several barbecues and picnic sites, two shelters and a café restaurant with self-service. If you want a cozy warm gathering place one can rent a grill hut. Some Saturdays during the winter it is après ski with live music in the restaurant.
Ski Shop
Roupéz is well-stocked shop with rentals and sales of clothes and ski equipment located in the ski resort.
Ski School
Both for those who want to learn more and for beginners. The ski school Isaberg is driven by Roupéz who have professional instructors who take care of you. You can get a private lesson or join a group.
You buy your ski pass at the spot in the upper ski area, it is only if you have a ski pass since before that you can download it online.

There are always opportunities to become a better skier. Beginners need to learn to get up and down the mountain, the intrepid skier wants to learn the proper carving techniques.
With highly trained and skilled instructors can all become better skiers. Throughout the season there are professional ski instructors on hand to look after you. Choose between group lessons or private lessons.

Pre-book Ski pass online.
If you already have a ski pass from Isaberg or another facility that uses AXESS non-contact ski pass, you can download it online. If you do not have a SkiPass, you buy it online and pick it up at a ticket machine located in the ski resort. You can also buy Skipass in our hotel reception, which you then use online to load.
Limits the number of skiers on the slopes to a maximum of 2000 people / day. SkiPass must be booked / pre-loaded online.
